“Per quattro anni e quattro vendemmie, un uomo, un cane e una macchina fotografica si sono aggirati nottetempo nei vigneti, sfidando il freddo e il sonno, il fango e i fossi, vignaioli ansiosi e passanti curiosi, con un solo obiettivo: fotografare l’invisibile in una situazione improbabile.
Il risultato sono circa 50 immagini che distillano le forme di acini, grappoli, tralci e pampini, illuminate da un singolo led e da un piccolo specchio, proiettandole in un mondo fantastico: come gioielli unici appoggiati sul nero velluto della notte.”

“For four years and four grape harvests, a man, his dog and a camera made nocturnal visits to vineyards, oblivious to cold, fatigue, mud and ditches, anxious farmers and curious passers-by, with one sole objective: to photograph the invisible in an improbable situation.
The result is a collection of 50 images which capture the form of the grapes, the shoots and the leaves, illuminated by a single LED and a small mirror projected into a world of fantasy: like unique jewels placed on the velvet of the night.”
