UNA BOLLA IN CIELO
La Bolla del Lingotto di Torino, progettata quasi 30 anni fa da Renzo Piano, è un’esclusiva sala conferenze racchiusa in una bolla di cristallo e acciaio con annessa elisuperficie, che si eleva sulla pista parabolica posta sul tetto del primo grande stabilimento della Fiat, riqualificato come complesso di uffici, auditorium, università, hotel, negozi e spazi fieristici.
Purtroppo questo prodigio di leggerezza è pienamente apprezzabile nella sua totalità soprattutto dal lato opposto all'ingresso principale, in fondo ad un parcheggio esterno verso la ferrovia.
Solo precisi e mirati sopralluoghi, con l’individuazione delle future postazioni di ripresa, con la valutazione dei percorsi di sole e luna, con una attenta lettura delle previsioni del tempo e con tante, lunghe attese hanno dato vita a queste immagini: non semplici fotografie didascaliche dell’elemento architettonico, ma un mix tra gli accadimenti meteo (e non solo) e una struttura-capolavoro incredibilmente affascinante.

A BUBBLE IN THE SKY
The "Lingotto Bubble" in Turin, designed almost 30 years ago by Renzo Piano, it's an exclusive conference room enclosed in a crystal and steel bubble with an adjoining helipad, which rises on the parabolic runway located on the roof of the first, large FIAT factory, redeveloped as an office complex, auditorium, university, hotel, shop and exhibition space.
Unfortunately this prodigy of lightness can be fully appreciated mostly from the opposite side of the main entrance, at the end of an external car park, towards the railway. Only precise and targeted scouting, with the identification of future shooting positions, with the evaluation of the paths of the sun and the moon, with a careful reading of the weather forecasts and with many, long waits have given life to these images: not mere photographs captions of the architectural element, but a mix between weather events (and not only) and an incredibly fascinating masterpiece structure.
