MONUMENTO A EMANUELE FILIBERTO DUCA D’AOSTA
Nel centro di Torino, in Piazza Castello, dietro a Palazzo Madama, c’è un monumento che raffigura il Comandante della III Armata, Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, Duca d’Aosta, accompagnato da due gruppi scultorei laterali che rappresentano alcuni soldati della Grande Guerra in differenti uniformi e posture.
Progetto dello scultore Eugenio Baroni, Tenente degli Alpini, venne solennemente inaugurato nel 1937, due anni dopo la sua morte.
Nel 2018, centenario della fine della prima guerra mondiale, Isaia tributa questo omaggio ai milioni di caduti militari e civili di tutte le nazioni.
MONUMENT TO EMANUELE FILIBERTO DUKE OF AOSTA
In the center of Turin, in Piazza Castello, behind Palazzo Madama, there is a monument depicting the Commander of the III Army, Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, Duke of Aosta, accompanied by two lateral sculptural groups representing some soldiers of the Great War in different uniforms and postures. Project by the sculptor Eugenio Baroni, Tenente degli Alpini, it was solemnly inaugurated in 1937, two years after his death.
In 2018, the centenary of the end of the First World War, Isaia pays this homage to the military and civilian million fallen of all nations.
