DOGS AND THE CITY
I migliori amici dell’uomo vengono innalzati al ruolo di testimonials della municipalità torinese: Isaia coinvolge una ventina di cani (e i relativi padroni), abbordandoli nei giardini, selezionandoli “senza discriminazioni razziali” e ambientandoli poi nel contesto urbano.
I collaborativi quadrupedi, ripresi da terra con un forte grandangolo, risultano così gli assoluti protagonisti, pur senza penalizzare il background cittadino: è sì il ritratto di un cane, ma anche una non convenzionale promozione della location.
Alcune di queste immagini sono state utilizzate dal quotidiano "La Stampa" per la realizzazione del Calendario 2008, con il titolo Quattro zampe per dodici mesi.

Man's best friends are raised to the role of testimonials of the Turin municipality: Isaia involves about twenty dogs (and their owners), approaching them in the gardens, selecting them "without racial discrimination" and then setting them in the urban context.
The collaborative quadrupeds, shooted from the ground with a strong wide angle, thus appear to be the absolute protagonists, without penalizing the city background: yes, it is the portrait of a dog, but also an unconventional promotion of the location.
Some of these images were used by the newspaper La Stampa for the 2008 Calendar, with the title Four legs for twelve months.
